Creative Director & Executive Producer
Suleiman Wali is a producer, writer, and creative director with more than 20 years of experience spanning television news, documentary filmmaking, screenwriting, digital product strategy, and brand communications.
His work sits at the intersection of journalism, documentary storytelling, and cultural narrative.
Wali began his career in broadcast journalism as a senior producer at the ABC News affiliate in Washington, DC, before moving to AOL News, where he helped shape national coverage during the pivotal rise of digital media. At AOL, he forged a strategic partnership with The Gallup Poll and created interactive video formats later adopted by TMZ.
His creative work spans film, television, and government media. He wrote, produced, and hosted We, Too, Are America, a feature-length travel documentary exploring Washington, DC through a Middle Eastern cultural lens, and served as co-creator, writer and producer of Culturally Incorrect, a three-part talk and editorial series for Tuti Media and TriVision Studios. His screenplay When the Dust Settles was a finalist in two international competitions and is currently optioned for production by Academy Award–winning talent. He also wrote and directed a documentary series for the NFL Players Association spotlighting its Brain & Body medical assessment program.
Wali’s government media clients include the US State Department, the Department of Agriculture, the US Air Force, and the Department of Homeland Security. As a creative director, he has led multimedia platforms reaching audiences in the millions, merging editorial rigor with innovative digital design. He is a former contributor to HuffPost.
He holds a Master’s degree in Producing for Film and Video from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from The George Washington University.
