Suleiman Wali is an accomplished producer, writer, and creative director with over 20 years of experience spanning television news, documentary filmmaking, screenwriting, journalism, digital product strategy, and brand communications.

A master storyteller across multiple mediums, Wali most recently wrote, produced, and hosted a feature-length travel documentary, We, Too, Are America, which explores the cultural and historical heart of Washington, D.C. He also served as creator and host of the three-part television talk and editorial series Culturally Incorrect for Tuti Media, blending incisive commentary with cultural insight.

His credits include authoring the screenplay When the Dust Settles, a finalist in two international screenplay competitions that is currently optioned for production by Academy Award–winning talent. He also wrote and directed a documentary series for the NFL Players Association that highlights its critical Brain & Body medical assessment program. Wali’s government media work includes producing high-impact video content for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Air Force, and the Department of Homeland Security, among others.

With a career rooted in journalism, Wali served as a senior producer at the ABC News affiliate in Washington, DC, and later at AOL News in Virginia, shaping national news coverage during the rise of digital media. While at AOL, he initiated and helmed the organization’s strategic partnership with The Gallup Poll; and he created innovative and interactive video features that were adopted by partner brand TMZ.

As a creative director, Wali has led the development of multimedia platforms that engage audiences in the millions—fusing editorial excellence with innovative digital design. He is a former contributor to HuffPost, and brings a deep understanding of how compelling content, user-centered design, and journalistic integrity can intersect to attract both audiences and advertisers.

Wali holds a Master’s degree in Producing for Film & Video from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from The George Washington University.
